Benjamin Alexander Joins NYBDC's Syracuse Team
New York Business Development Corporation (NYBDC), a leading provider of alternative small business capital, is excited to announce the addition of Benjamin Alexander to its team. As a commercial loan officer at New York Business Development Corporation and affiliates The 504 Company and Excelsior Growth Fund, Alexander will be working out of the NYBDC Syracuse office to support small business owners throughout Central New York and the North Country.
“I’m very excited to be joining a mission-based lending group and look forward to helping entrepreneurs across New York State. I truly believe one of the best ways to facilitate positive change in a community is through the growth of small businesses and job creation. I’m looking forward to playing a small role in NYBDC’s mission to help New York entrepreneurs achieve their version of the American dream,” said Alexander. Alexander comes to NYBDC after five years of experience in banking, most recently as a small business loan underwriter for NBT Bank of Norwich.
“Ben is a great addition to our Syracuse lending team. He has shown sincere interest in improving his community through entrepreneurship and small business growth and I look forward to working with him to help Central New York business owners find solutions to their capital needs,” commented Jim Conroy, Senior Vice President of New York Business Development Corporation.
