NYBDC SVP, Jim Goldrick, is Honored at Outreach Long Island Luncheon
On Wednesday, June 5th, NYBDC Senior Vice President, Jim Goldrick, was honored at the Outreach Annual Long Island Luncheon. This event, held at the Outreach House in Brentwood, also honored John Durso, President of the Long Island Federation of Labor & RWDSU Local 338.
Outreach is an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. Outreach provides vital drug and alcohol treatment and training services on Long Island, as well as in New York City. In Brentwood, they provide residential treatment services for adolescents ages 12 to 17, and their families. The program involves on site schooling, drug and alcohol education and counseling, as well as, health vocational, family and recreational and aftercare services.
This is the second year NYBDC has sponsored this annual Outreach event. The day is an opportunity to commemorate the accomplishments of Outreach clients and their families, and to recognize the support from the Long Island business and service community.
Jim Goldrick remarked, "At Outreach these young men and women are given the opportunity, structure, discipline and counseling necessary to get their lives back on track. The success story shared with us today is a testament to the incredible work that the staff of Outreach performs each and every day and it is the support and contributions of all of you that make it possible."
Outreach has helped families become whole again and saved countless lives. NYBDC is proud to be involved with such an incredible organization.
