Message from the President and CEO - Patrick J. MacKrell
We have taken a brief hiatus with our newsletter to convert from a quarterly printed version to a monthly electronic version. This will allow us to combine a number of communications to our partners and provide current information on a timely basis. Our monthly newsletter will not only include information on the loans approved in the prior month but also the most recent SBA 504 rates. For your convenience we have compiled the loan approval section by economic region and have added other items of interest. As I noted in the last newsletter, we welcome your thoughts and suggestions and will continue to use this as a medium to address comments and questions of general application and concern. 
 
This edition also features a “Frequently Asked Question” section which we expect to include on a regular basis.  It has been an exciting few months since our last newsletter and we invite your attention to the articles on our recently approved Construction Lending Program and the reduction in the interest rate for SBA 504 loans of $1 million and more. As always, thank you for your support of our programs which promote access to capital for New York’s small businesses.
