Employee Spotlight

Every month we will introduce a new employee and discuss the contributions they make to NYBDC and the communities in which they live. This month we are proud to introduce:

Nancy Reinhart, Senior Vice President, NYBDC

Nancy manages the loan servicing, credit underwriting and administration department for NYBDC. Prior to joining the company in 2003, she was vice president and commercial credit manager for Hudson River Bank and Trust Company. She began her banking career over 25 years ago as a teller and collector. Nancy honed her skills and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and  successfully completed numerous banking courses. She then served as a credit analyst as well as line lender and began her work in credit administration over 14 years ago.

Nancy is proud of her accomplishments and says her work at NYBDC is fulfilling because she gets to work with a variety of lenders. She believes that NYBDC's mission is unique because "we have the ability to assist small businesses through the various programs that we offer." She also noted that the most fulfilling and rewarding aspect of her position is watching the businesses prosper from the assistance we have provided.

Nancy lives in Middleburgh with her husband Fred and her daughter Laura. She is active in her church and is a AAU Girls' Basketball League board member. When she is not busy at work she enjoys spending time with her family and playing softball. Nancy hopes that in ten years she will be retired and on a beach somewhere playing with her grandchildren.
