Employee Spotlight

Every month we will introduce a new employee and discuss the contributions they make to NYBDC and the communities in which they live. This month we are proud to introduce:
 

Michael A. Taylor, Vice President, NYBDC

Michael manages our Buffalo office and is responsible for loan activity throughout Western New York. He joined NYBDC in July 2005 and in that time has helped many small businesses. 

Prior to joining the company, he was a Small Business Relationship Manager for HSBC Bank USA.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Business Administration degree from Canisius College. 

While passionate about his work, Michael also is passionate about spending quality time with his  two children, Erika (age 12) and Ethan (age 8). He also enjoys golfing and sitting down with a great adventure novel in his spare time. He is
a member of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors and also serves on their government affairs committee. But NYBDC's mission is never far from his thoughts.

"I enjoy providing a unique product or service to our bankers that allows them to best serve their customers," he said. "I can truthfully say I see myself in this same position for years to come."
