Linda
Zou, Vice President
Linda joined
NYBDC in September 2006 in our Manhattan office. She
works with our lending
partners along with 6 other Loan Officers in our New York City
and Long Island offices. She is responsible for
providing loans to small businesses in the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Linda moved from
Reading, Pennsylvania to New York City in 1983 with her
parents and her siblings and has been living in NYC for over
23 years. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree in Finance from Baruch College in New York, New York.
Linda has over nine years of experience in commercial lending.
She spent most of her banking years at Independence Community
Bank and Country Bank.
Linda is a member
of Young Mortgage Bankers Association and Metropolitan
Mortgage Officers Society. She also is an Associate Member of
New York Chinese American Bankers Association. Linda also
volunteers her times to a number of charities
including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
While enjoying her work, Linda
also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family,
especially with her adorable nieces and nephews. Linda likes
to travel and has built an album of beautiful world sceneries
over the years. She also likes to read and to skate.

very much,” she said. “I like the fact that I don’t have to
compete with my banker friends. I partner with them instead,
to better serve their customers and to help small businesses
to grow and to create jobs – making New York a better place to
live and to work. I am proud to be a member of NYBDC
team and that I could utilize my bilingual skills, while NYBDC
is reaching out to the Asian market.”
